What’s Happening: An Idea

Years ago, when I moved to Windsor, there really was no way of knowing what was happening around town. If you didn’t catch an ad about an event on the radio, or if you didn’t hear about it from a friend, it was easy to miss. Often, I would see pictures on friends’ social media accounts after the event was already over.

What’s Happening: Windsor was born from the frustration of missing those events. We aim to gather as many sports, music, theatre, festival, and any other kind of fun event happening in the city so you don’t miss out.

After six months of creating and recreating the newsletter, it was officially launched in May of 2025. Our goal is to be the resource for events and sports in our wonderful city. We aren’t there yet, but we are working hard every day to reach that goal.

When I first drove through Windsor, I fell in love with it. The Detroit River, the beautiful parks, the hard-working but friendly residents, and the fun events all captivated me. I hope you will go out and explore our city, and we hope to inform you about What’s Happening.
