Why did you create this newsletter?

Ever since I moved to Windsor, I had trouble finding out what events were happening around town. Creating the newsletter not only helped me stay informed, but also inspired me to share these events with my fellow Windsorites.

How often will I receive the newsletter?

Once a week. Every Wednesday, we publish a weekly issue covering events through the following Tuesday.

How can I get my picture featured at the top of the newsletter?

Pictures are selected randomly from Unsplash.com. Upload your picture and make sure you tag it with Windsor and Ontario. If you send a very nice message and your picture features the essence of the GWA (Greater Windsor Area), the picture may not be as random that week. 😉

What’s Happening: An Idea

Years ago, when I moved to Windsor, there really was no way of knowing what was happening around town. If you didn’t catch an ad about an event on the radio, or if you didn’t hear about it from a friend, it was easy to miss. Often, I would see pictures on friends’ social media accounts after the event was already over.

What’s Happening: Windsor was born from the frustration of missing those events. We aim to gather as many sports, music, theatre, festival, and any other kind of fun event happening in the city so you don’t miss out.
